I was placed on summary probation for a misdemeanor. I have paid all of my fines and did all of my community service. Now I need to get off probation so that I can get a job. How do I do this?

Hello Ms:

You file a motion with the court... But, I don't understand how being on probation is preventing you from getting a job - especially since you have NO supervision...

Is the job out of state?

In reply to excon's comment: The reason I cannot get a job is because of my field of expertise. I have worked in Customer Service for over 20 years and whatever job I apply to I have to pass a background check and because I have a misdeamenor forgery on my record due to my own stupidity and faith in other people so now it is next to impossible for me to get hired.

That isn't going to change when you get off probation..

Unless you are on some "first offender program" of some sort with an agreement to explunge the conviction. When you are off probation, the conviction will still always show up forever, it does not stop showing up when you get off probation.
