How to get back child support for an adult child?
Can I get back child support for an adult child? I understand that it never goes away depending on the state laws? I am owed a signicant amount of money. At one time I tried one of those child support help lines but they ended up saying we tried but nope. My son is 23 years old and support stopped at 2, I gort afew garnished wages and one intercepted tax refund, this case was interstate-but maybe now he is comfortable enogh to get him?

As long as a support order was issued, you can continue to try and collect regardless of the age of the child. There are local agencies that can help collect on support.

Arrears never go away and in fact depending on the state there may be interest on the arrears also.
