    Water line leak on refrigerator
I have a Sears Kenmore model# 25351622101. We have a small hole in one of the plastic tubes that I finally located in the back bottom area by taking the (cardboard)panel off the back. As soon as I press the water dispenser it sprays water from this spot. Is there a way to repair this tube without replacing the entire plastic tube. If I knew I could replace the tube easily I might do that instead but so far I don't see any way "I" could. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. [email protected]

You really need to replace the tube or use a repair double compression fitting. Cut the pipe at the hole and use the double compression fitting as a stop measure. May last longer than expected. HD, Lowe's and other hardware stores would have that type of fitting, probably about $4

We purchased the double compression unit and after cutting the tubing we could not get the tubing to fit into the unit unless we took the insert out of the piece but then when it seemed to work it then came apart. We got the 1/4" size plastic compression unit. Should we maybe try a copper unit?

Yes. The brass one is the way to go. Sorry I didn't tell you first.
