    AGI and Self-Select Pin
I don't recall my pin from last year. I used TurboTax, and not sure where to look. So, I see I can use last year's AGI instead. Is the amount TurboTax lists accurate? To be sure, here is last year's W-2

    Box 1: 5,763.70
    Box 2: 382.75

Is this enough to calculate my AGI? The only other place I reported any income is interest, and I put 2.28 in it and TurboTax rounded to 2 dollars.

If this isn't safe, is there an official way to find last year's AGI?

TurboTax will carry over last year's AGI accurately, you can feel confident of that.

Based on your information, your AGI should be $5,766.

If you're using TurboTax again this year, the software will correctly enter the information needed to generate your PIN. Doing so will enable you to electronically file without submitting paperwork.

Cool. Do you mean if I import last year's return, or even if I don't it somehow looks me up in TurboTax's database?

You ALWAYS want to transfer your tax information from the prior year. Doing so will save you a lot of time because TurboTax transfer brings over all your personal information and descriptions such as employer name/address and the names of banks, etc. Additionally, it carries forward your PIN information so you can electronically file withOUT having to file any paperwork or look back to last year's return and try to figure out what the IRS wants.
