It appears that my Inground pool was built over or very close to a Natural spring and with the 17" of rain we've had this season, it has grown significantly and is causing MAJOR issues to my pool and yard. Last year it cause the liner to detach and float with thousands of gallons of water beneath it, causing it to tear. We have had to NOW replace the liner & as it sits in my garage waiting to be installed, we notice the clean fresh water that continues to fill the bottom of our 8 foot. We have sucked out 60 gallons and within 24 hours another 80-100 gallons has seaped back through. We have come to the conclusion that it is a natural spring, but how can WE REDIRECT it or SAVE OUR pool walls from caving in from all this pressure? We do NOT know the origin of this spring so for us, it is difficult to come up with a cost effective plan.

Have a drain system installed

What I mean by a drain system is that they will dig underneath and around the pool and put down a layer of gravel and install black corraguated drain pipe I think about 4inches in diameter and run it out to another area preferably down slope somewhere

Like a french drain system? I have done some research and found problems solved by frenched drains of home structure issues, but none of pools. My spring is at least 8 feet down because it is coming in from the bottom of my 8 foot pool.

Kind of like that consider putting a sump pump down there to but really you should talk to well expierenced pool builder in your area
