How can I find out if someone was LEGALLY adopted?

Ask them or their parents for copies of the adoption paper work.

Really had with almost no info, as to who, why, are you wondering if you were adopted, if one of your children was adopted, if someone you are dating was adopted.

The age of the person, was it a closed or open adoption.

What relation are you to this person? Why do you need or know?
