I have not worked the last two years am living on my sell from my house in the U.S. which was on my last tax forms in the U.S. Which forms do or should I fill out for the U.S. tax for the years 2009 and 2010 and also do I do both state and federal?? You need to clarify a few things:

    1. Where did you reside in 2009 and 2010? You ask about state income tax, which implies that you were living in the US at the time, correct?

    2. Did you have any US-based income in 2009 or 2010. If so, how much?

The bottom line is rather simple: if you had NO taxable income in 2009 and 2010, then NO U.S. (or state) income tax return will be required.
