I am trying to remember the equation to add the overhead to a product to determine its sales price.
I am really trying to find our new overhead percentage to add to the cost of product for a shelf price.
Is this Sales less COGS divided by EXPENSES?

There are different ways to do this based on the company and what makes sense. One way is to base it on the cost of the product, and then add the desired profit to the cost and overhead applied to determine the price.
