    Child stung
    I think that my son was eithr biten or stung by something and its swollen and hot and the area around the swollen part is red and the red is getting bigger, he says it hurts but doesn't itch

    Sounds as though he is having a local reaction to something. Since the area is getting larger, best to call his doctor now. They may suggest something like benedryl and/or to have him seen.

    Have you tried using calamine or neosporin?

    So why are you posting here? Why not take him to the nearest emergency. I also notice you posted and didn't stick around for answers.

    We can't diagnose here especially for something as instant as a bug bite.
