Permanent residence with felony traveling overseas
I'm a Permanent Resident of the United States with a felony, my crime was possession of marijuana over 30 grams. This was about 4 years ago. I was recently offered a job that will require me to travel overseas. My questions is will I be to travel for work? Is there some type of court document that will allow me to travel for work and be allowed back into the Unite States when I return from my business trip?

    Thank you for your responses

Your return may be barred if the CBP determines your are inadmissible. You need to meet with your immigration attorney to clarify if you can travel and return without any significant problem. There are a lot of factors; exact crime, maximum statutory penalty, aggravating factors, your age at the time of the commission, your immigration status at the time, any qualifying USC relatives for a waiver, etc.

Not that easy, find an experience immigration attorney. Check AILA or your state bar if they have an immigration interest section. Good luck.

Agree with NYcityboy... If I were you, I would not take this risk.
