Well I am a virgin and I have not started my period, I am in middle school however which most people say is when you start your period but my question is sometimes on the lips of my "lower area" it itches? I don't know if this is a sign of my 1st period coming? Please help! Thanks.

Hi Snicker. Kind of hard to say if that 'itch' is a sign of menstruation or not. It could be hair follicles activating for one reason; another reason could be a slight discharge that is causing the itch.

Snick, please talk to your mom, nurse at school. Somebody who can help you on a personal basis. This is not a good way to find out. It is a personal thing is what I am trying to say.
