1962 Chevy Small Block 327, price?
I have an extra autopart, a 1962 Chevy small Block 327 that I had originally purchased for $100. Now I have no use for the block and would like to sell it. The problem is, I do not know how much I would sell it for. I do believe that this autopart is worth a lot of money, however, I am not entirely sure and would like to know that the part is really worth. I have looked on eBay for some sort of comparison, but unfortunately have not found any valuable information that would allow me to price this part. I do not want to over-price a potential buyer, or lose out on any money that this part could bring me.
How much is this part worth? How much should I sell it for?
Thank you in advance for any advise that is offered.

Depends on condition, miles, heads, cam. etc. Impossible to answer. Check Craigslist. Google "1962 327 chevy block for sale" and see what pops up.

The first thing I noticed was that there was not a 387 small block engine stock issued available for the 1962 c10 and c30 series.there was the standard 235.5 cubic inch six , and the optional 283 cubic in. v8 . I also know that the 327 v8 was only available for the 1966 pickup . So I advise you to find the model number of the engine and figure out the year . Then findout the mileage , and etc. and then finale research the price.. I hope this help you out
