    Swimming Pool Current
The stainless handrails in my pool read 1.5v with all breakers off and 1.7v with breakers on. I connected a ground from the railing to the water and it eliminated it. Any suggestions on what to look for?

    Thanks,
    Bryan Woody

Shut off the breaker, do not use the pool and call an electrician. There is a short somewhere and it could be a source other than the pool. Maybe a low voltage lighting system or such. Tell me where you placed your test leads to get your two readings

It sounds to me like you have salt in your water have the water tested for salt and put a zince anode in the pool
