    California condominium parking code
Just bought a expensive condo in San Diego CA and parking space has piping and steel tubes to protect piping coming out of the celing, this has caused the hight of the space to drop about 7" and to be about 6'3" instead of the almost 7' in all other spaces. Seller/Developer states that is in according to City and State CODES but I doubt it? Anyone can help to refer to CODES?

I found a couple of documents that related to parking space requirements in SD, but none dealt in height.

So ask the seller to show you the codes if they are in compliance. Or call the housing department for an inspection.
