Do you sing now? In public? In a church choir? In school musicals or at school events? At nursing homes and at library programs?

Do you play an instrument? Do you take singing lessons?

    How visible are you?

You sing any and everywhere you can.

Also remember that there are 100's of thousands of people who try out for shows like American Idol. But most people first never get world or national famous, most can and do make a living at it, doing regional, theme parks, cruise ships and more.

Talk to your parent, get singing lessons, a voice coach, and then become visible. Go to shows, sing in public wherever you can. That's what it takes to get noticed.

It can take many years to actually become a famous singer, if it ever even happens. The fact is, you have to have something special, and then you have to be noticed by the right people. There are many talented people out there trying the same thing you are. This isn't an easy dream to realize. It takes hard work, commitment, a lot of failure, a lot of disappointment, and it may never happen.

You have to be in it for the long haul. Can you do that? Are you willing to eat, breath and live singing? That's what it will take.
