My husband just found out a garnishment on my debt on his bank account that left him with a negative balance and no money to pay bills.I as not notified about this court action.What can I do?

First, is it a joint account with you named as part owner or signator? Second, were you unaware that a judgment had been entered against you?

If the answers are Yes and No respectively, then nothing can be done. If the answers to either question are the opposite there may be some recourse. The first step is to get a copy of the order served on the bank so you know the court and docket numbers.
