Help my mum has a bush a626 n flatscreen lcd TV and has lost the manual can someone tell why the remote control will not work? Changed batteries and the infrared lights up on TV when you press remote buttons but the TV does nothing ,wonder if there's a child lock button on remote or something that has been presssed any help greatly appreciated thanks

If there are mode buttons across the top of the remote, make sure to press "TV" first. It is possible the remote is also programmable. The flashing status LED just says it is receiving an IR signal and will usually flash when a signal from any remote is picked up.
