Hello:

There's this Expedia commercial on the tube.. It's starring this goth girl from NCIS showing a graphic representing unsold hotel rooms. All the rooms are empty except one, where we see an Asian fellow walking around in a towel.. When the fellow discovers he's being watched, he covers his BOOBS. I don't know ANY men who would do that..

What am I missing?

YOU aren't missing anything... not that I can see anyway. Most guys I know upon knowing about a camera hidden in the room would bend over give them a good moon... and follow it up with a one finger salute. Like High school athletes Mooning other drivers on a road trip.

Didn't make sense to me either.

Some self-indulgent advertiser trying to make some 'clever' humorous point but failing to take on board that if the viewers don't get it it doesn't work?

I am in the same mind as smoothy here to some extent,

I'd throw the towel at the peeper. Then...
I would see just how much they could possibly want to see.

Perhaps the only people that actually "Got" that commercial were the people that made it?

I don't know a single transgendered person personally... but I would never expect any of the gays I know to act like that. And none of the straight guys either.
