I have a GE side by side refrig. When I hit the water dispensor water comes out a tube on the lower back right onto the floor. Any ideas why?

Leak in the supply tube between the solenoid valve and the water dispenser.

It sounds like you have a leak in the hose between the water storage and the dispenser or possible a cracked solenoid for the water tank. If it was in the supply side it would leak all the time. When you hit the water button, the solenoid opens and water comes out. You'll need to pull the fridge out and check around the back.
