    Hii...
I am a22 year old girl... suddenly I faced heavy bleeding for about 15 days... dere after I was diagnosed with a left ovarian cyst on 28 march 2011... I was recommended to take PAUSE MF (trexanimic acid and mefanic acud)... n the periods stopped within a week...
Thereafter on 20 April ma periods started again... in by the way I started with pause mf on 3 may along with... deviry(medroxyprogesterone)... BUT I CONTINUED TO BLEED...

Den on 16 may I went for a usg... n it showed that left ovarian cyst had Disappeared... but it had an another dignosis of ENDOMETRIAL HYPERPLASIA OF 14 MM THICKNESS... with suspected polyp...
Now I have started PROGESTERONE THERAPY... (sysron) thrice a day... still taking till date

Thou ma periods have stopped(16 may)... still I want expert opinion about ma problem... is there any further risk?? Will it regress on its own..? is there any need to worry

Using progesterone is the most common means of treatment and often works very well. They will check again to determine how effective the progesterone has been.

Sometimes a change in dosage and/or longer use may be necessary. Some doctors will suggest using the progesterone for several months with periodic checks. Sometimes birth control pills are used to help control the growth.

If the progesterone is not effective, your doctor will discuss other possible treatment options with you. What they may suggest will be decided by any test results and your age.

In most cases, the progesterone will take care of it for you.
