I just found out that I am 6 weeks pregnant and I had some heavy bleeding in the beginning, I went to my dr and she checked and told me that my cervix was closed to just rest. I did rest and the bleeding subsided then within about three day went away besides a little spotting here and there. My concern is that when I pass a bowel movement I tend to see more blood that is red but it is not a lot and it is only for that one time then it goes away. I have an ultra sound scheduled for next week. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Since the bleeding subsides, and you are not experiencing cramping as well, it likely is not a problem. When you have the ultrasound you we be reassured. Your doctor may suggest that you continue to take it easy and to refrain from having intercourse for awhile longer.
