Greetings,

The light over my "normal wash" button is flashing and the dishwasher won't respond to the pushing of any buttons. When I did push the "cancel" button it now is also flashing at the same time as the "normal wash" button. I did notice the discussion thread suggesting alternating pushing the normal wash and heated dry buttons 5+ times to do a reset but that did nothing on my unit.

I have a model # 665.13112K700.

If there isn't something I can do to reset it, is there anyone who knows what the unit is signalling me as to what part needs replacement?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I too am having this problem and I just called Sears. I have a similar washer that is about 1.5 years old. They said that my solution was to purchase an extended warranty or send a repair person out both to the tune of several hundreds of dollars (on top of a product I spent multiple hundreds of dollars for.) It is really sad to me that an American company has to resort to what is basically extortion to keep it running.

This will be my last product I ever purchase from Sear, a sears brand or connected company. Please tell everyone you know to boycott Sears/Kenmore.
