My kenmore elite dryer is not getting hot what could be the problem? I was thinking it may be the heating coil, if so where would it be located? Any other suggestions?

Might need water valve, check screens in hoses first and in the valve , where the hoses screw on

Jake, just reading through this string - My dryer does not have any water valves (nor, hopefully, any water!)
