    Pc battery problem.
I have a Dell PC and today my boyfriend was looking up some stuff but and he let the battery run out. The computer turn off. When he puts it to charge the battery button does not turn on. I don't know if it is charging (but I hope it is). We try charging my PC with my sister charger but her PC is HP I don't kow if that matters, but it still didn't charge. He says that the light is not on but the light from the charger is green. I really don't know what happen because I went to school and work and today is my boyfriend day off. Any suggestion of what it could be I will be really thankful. I really hope is not my PC that it is the charger.

As far as the charger is concerned if you have a dell they use a specific charger and an HP charger won't work in it. They use a proprietary wire inside the charger connection. If you replace it use oem only. The others may not work with it at all or may only allow you to turn on your laptop and not charge the battery.
