There's plenty out there.

First check here - http://www.mpogd.com . That's a directory for MMOPRG's. There's a search function where you can specify price etc.

Then here's a few others to checkout -
Runescape: http://www.runescape.com
Dragnarok: http://www.dragnarok.net
Lineage 2: http://l2.ultimaro.com

The last two aren't official servers and are run by other people. I used to play Dragnarok and it was always great fun.

World of Warcraft-Must buy the game and pay 15$ every month.
Runescape- Free/Not free. If you want to become member you pay 5$
Ragnarok-I think this is about 10$
Rose Online-Same as Ragnarok
Guild Wars- I don't know. My teacher plays. LOL
Gun Bound-It is free
Rakion-Free/Member
Gunz-Free but takes a long time to load(Dial-Up=2h hours. Broadband= 1 hour.)

I don't even like that one so much because there's no main plotline and your character doesn't change looks when adding equipment very much. There's like thousands of other people that look exactly like you, and it gets repetative.

you can try everquest 2 it's a really good free to play 3d game where you can chose from six classes{more if you buy them} and from 3 or four races {same as classes} there are millions of [places to explore and hundreds of thousands of players.There are also mounts factions with cities {the city you pick decides good or evil}and you can buy mounts.
