    Signing rights
    Everyone talks about how dads are deadbeat dads because they want to sign rights over but what about if your ex wife calls your house all hours of the night and rides around to find out where you live or calles the cops on you. OK I'm in a relationship with a man that has two kids we been together for the last 4 years and we have a baby together but this girl just does not stop I'm getting sick and tried of it its neverending we've tried talking to her he does not pay support because he gives them everything they need he pickes them up every weekend, he is there every field trip at school so tell me please what to do now because its going to destroy mt relationship

    First off... he cannot just sign over his rights. Please read the sticky on the family law forum regarding termination of parental rights. Second: isn't his relationship with his child more important than your frustration or inconvenience? Has be done ANYTHING to stop this, like call the police, get a restraining order, or more important, FILE FOR CUSTODY OR VISITATION? Anything for the children outside of the support order is a gift. If he is really concerned, he would go to court, have support established, and pay it. Is he paying rent? Utilities> If not, the he is not giving them everything they need. There are several legal options that you have to secure his custody and visitation, and to protect himself from harassment. Signing over rights is not one of them. (And you need to stay out of it. Period. What is going on is between him and her. You are not his wife and you are not those children's mother. You have no standing in this.)

    Your partner needs to call the police on her. There is such a thing as reasonable contact, and then there is harassment.

    As was already stated earlier, the only way to do anything legally is to go to court and get an order established granting him custody and visitation rights - obviously, he will have to start paying child support based on your local laws.


    I'm curious: why does she not know where he lives if he has regular visitation with the children? That seems rather shady.

    The fact that this you're referring to this woman as his "exwife" but no custody/support order was entered is a big red flag for me - are you positive he's even divorced? Or have you been in a relationship for the past 4 years with a married man?

    He doesn't pay them support but he buys everything they need? That's a bad sign right from the beginning. "Everything they need" is, as has been said, a gift.

    How is the behavior of the ex-wife destroying your relationship? Doesn't your boyfriend believe you? Something else? As a side note the "ex" doesn't have to talk to you. It's your boyfriend's problem, not yours. Of course, if she's harassing you, go to the Police.

    I'm not sure the abusive is only in one direction based on your other post concerning a mother/daughter relationship gone bad - "beat her damb *** on good time and i bet she wont do it again"

    That's funny because I'm the ex wife and the they all live with me in my house and no he does nothing for the kids... field trips, really... when?? I work 2 jobs to support the house... yea me the ex wife so I assume that I ride around my house!! Hmmm pretty interesting!! Lol And my computer was used for the girlfriend to write this and I found it because she didn't log out!!

    I'm closing this thread. Apparently someone is lying here or is schizophrenic. And I don't much care which or who.

    I find it really hard to believe that you are allowing your husband's girlfriend to live with you. But then how could you use her computer? But its not worth playing games with you.

    And anymore examples of this type of garbage will get you banned.
