    Side effect of anti-depressant meds
I have suffered from depression for years and thought I had finally come out on top. After doing well for a couple of years, I have crashed again and am now back on Wellbutrin. I love, love the feeling of not minding getting up in the mornings, and my mind feeling clear. I hate, hate the side effects of heart palpitations which feel like a panic attack, feeling so hot it seems I will spontaneously combust and drenching sweat. Can anybody tell me if there's a med that helps without these side effects? Dr. doesn't want me to switch because it helps mentally. I don't want to lose the good, I cannot live with the bad. Thanks.

Is this a family doctor prescribing them? If yes may I suggest a referral to a psych doc, they would know if there are any other meds you could take and would be able to monitor you.
