    Shower in basement
I bought a new house with a unfinished basement and hase a place for shower and toilet, the shower drain is plumbed up ( see attached pic.) but they put the toilet drain only 28" from shower drain. Can i put a couple 45 degree sweeps on that to move it over to the right about 6" or am I suppose to have a elbow in there any way as a trap.

You question is a bit vague but I think you want to move the shower drain not the toilet, right? Yes you can dig down and move the drain but an elbow does not make a trap. You will also need to flush cut the 4" pipe for the toilet before installing a flange. Ever do any work like this before?
