    Gap setting
    I just replaced the fly wheel on a 6hp BRIGGS push mower. My question is,What should the coil to fly wheel gap setting be? I'm getting some re-coil kickback.

    Seems the gap is .010 to .014

    That or a matchbook cover should do it.

    If your getting kick back , could be you didn't get the flywheel key seated good.
