I started having chest pains on new years eve and went to er caus it felt like a weight was on my chest and sharp pains going down my left. I was diagnosed with constochondritis and was giving some inflamaton medication, but I'm still hurting and I take short breaths due to it hurting so bad to breathe.

Have you had a follow up exam? Are you under a doctors care? Are you still on medication?

It would really be best to see your doctor about this.

There's really nothing anyone on the internet can do other then guess. Guesses won't help you. You need a diagnosis, and only a doctor can offer that.
