    GE Washing machine won't spin?
    GE model WHDSR316G2WW
    Machine will not spin, but motor seems to be purring. Does not seem to matter with lid up either, but I am not sure. I still hear something without the tub spinning. Machines two years old and pulley belt still looks new and rotates with tub. Nothing looks out of line, but I am not sure if it even agitated, closed the lid and walked away?
    Any ideas outside of transmission?

    ANSWER: Did have the machine repaired and it was the lid switch.
