    I've been NEEDING this answer
Hey, I have a question. The past week my friend gave me a couple pain pills and I've taken them for my back, I'm 36 weeks pregnant... I wanted to ask you how long does those painpills stay in the baby's system? Will it be in his system when he is born and they drug test him??

Without knowing what the pain pills were, we can't answer your question. Different pain meds work in different ways.

They were lortab 10's blue watsons. They shouldn't be in the baby's system when he is born in about 2 or 3 weeks?

They will still be in the baby's system because the baby has not yet voided or stooled. Most hospitals don't drug test babies unless there are circumstances that require it, so I wouldn't worry about it.

However, you should know that taking someone else's medication, in the US, is illegal and the person giving you the medication can be charged with a felony. Also, certain medications are dosed due to a person's weight, so taking someone else's medication could be very dangerous to your health.
