I got pulled over today for being on my cell phone while driving, the officer who issued me the ticket wrote up the wrong date he wrote that I got the ticket issued 05/08/07 but it was actually 05/08/11 since driving and using a cellular device only became illegal July 15, 2010 do I still have to pay? Or can I get the ticket dismissed?

Yes. Normally the court will disregard an obvious mistake on a ticket.
