I have a craftsman keyless entry pad model 139.53684 for a craftsman garage door opener. It will close the garage door but not open it with the 4 digit code.

Check the electronic lock on the wired pad. If the lock button on the wired pad has been pressed, the remote will close the door but will not open it.

If you have the original instruction onhow to program it you should reprogram. Power surges and failyures can cause the opener to "forget" the keyless frequency. Sometimes replacing the battery in a keyless will leave it useless until reprogrammed
