Hi I am really at my wits end here.. I for as long as I can remember have had this ghost in our family... entity/demon I do not know what name to put to it(them? )... I thought when I left home I may leave it behind but it has taken to me and I am a grown up middle aged woman now with two grown up children and two children still at home with me. This is affecting my every day life and last year had to seek help from a clairovoyant/psychic/meduim... I WAS NOT CHARGED neither scammed as I gave away no personal information whatsoever... what these people told me is only what close family and myself knew.
I have tried praying and the white light pray to keep us all safe... also I have not had days good luck or health since I can remember my family are dysfunctional and nervous over this being whom resides with us but there are others too now.
Am I an emotional portal? Was a curse put on my family generations ago? I really could go into more detail but I know many will read this and just scoff and leave the usual unbelieving comments that many do UNTIL IT HAPPENS TO THEM!!
I am in tears over this and this is quite malevolent happenings.

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP SO I CAN CLAIM BACK SOME FAMILY TIME AND HAPPINESS... :/

Yes and if anything things became worse.

I don't mean to offend anyone who believes in ghosts, etc. but I would like to suggest that perhaps this presence you feel is actually just bad feelings from past experiences, that follow you because those past experiences have never been resolved. I believe you feel something that is very real, but question it being some apparition or ghost, and maybe just being emotional issues you need to address in your life. Perhaps similarly, your family members have put the focus of their on personal problems into this idea of a ghostly presence.

I would recommend counseling to talk about when this being came into your life, how it manifests in your life and home, etc. You may find that it is actually part of yourself, which simply needs some care and attention to heal.

Thank you for your reply and I wish every thing in theory was so easy in real life maybe I did not mention in fact I know I did not mention I was a sceptic even though things happened as a child from the age of 4 yrs old I always found a reasonable conclusion for things... well tried to... but when things actually move and no one WILL VISIT me any more and work men have been scared this begs the question... GHOSTS? Some advice I have had is no matter what you do... do NOT talk to them (it) as I am acknowledging something is there and then I get advice like (IE) speak to it(them) in the hope they might pass on... I do not want to believce in all this but I do believe in God but it seems my family is targeted and this goes back to my grandad who was born in 1901 obviously passed away now but accounts of happenings in the family have stemmed from then... I totally understand people reading this and being sarcastic/non empathetic/dubious/skeptical and 101 other words I could type.:(

What about your granddad that may be your family thinks caused this? Was he in WW1 or WW2 and then it happened?

MY grand dad was in the war all I know is that he served in Burma for years.. but he had episodes of spirits as a young man.My dad has the gift and it doesn't seem to bother him and I have been told I have too.. by the psychics that came out last year... they also did E.M.F I'm not sure what its called when they record to listen to things and then they played it back and It was a man with a horrible cold snigger.And the readings on their machines went into overload.

Any advice or help is appreciated... May I just say I was asked by the psychic investigators "Had I ever dabbled with the ouija board and I replied no having forgotten myself and three other girls did one lunch hour at school when I was 14 years old.. obviously not a proper one we made it from paper.. I just think there are quite a few people here.. 100 plus orbs in any taken picture too... no joke!

I agree. I loose interest 99% of the time when I hear the word "orb" mentioned. Possible... just not probable. But, in this case, it sounds like she could have a lot of activity.

Josie42... I want you to hang in there. I know you don't see it anymore, but there is hope in these situations.

With only a few comments in so far... there is a lot that can be addressed. First of all, can we get some specifics? Such as WHY you believe your family is so tormented? What are you seeing? What exactly is going on in your home/life that makes you believe you are besieged by this spirit? Don't mistake this for doubting... I believe you, I just want to know what you are experiencing.

Was your grandfather experiencing spiritual phenomena BEFORE the war or after he returned? What types of things did he and your father see that they have the "gift"?

Be aware that if you hire someone as a psychic investigator, it is in their financial interests to find that there are spirits in your house and to validate your suspicions because they can then continue to "work" with you to eradicate the house of these things. I've read of many studies of these psychic "meters" that have been used and they've been found to be things ranging from stud finders (the person runs them around door frames to "read" whether a spirit has entered, and of course they react to the nails and door hardware because they are magnetic) to light meters, which change based on changes in light in the room. If you are prone to and want to believe these people it doesn't take much to make a convincing show...

So, admittedly I'm a total skeptic, but be careful what you pay for!

Very true. While the psychic community is flooded with scam artists... it doesn't mean that there aren't some out there that really are in contact with the spirit world. I find these people to be even more dangerous. It's one thing to be scammed out of money in this world. But to be scammed out of the spiritual world after this life is even worse. We might want to think about where their abilities really come from.
