On my three year old mower I have a pull cord to start. This is traditional of a push mower. When I pull the rope the engine locks and the rope will not move. I took the top housing off and the rope cylinder moves fine. The rotary assembly that starts the engine moves freely. When they are together they do not work. Can anyone help?
