I bought a used washer with no hoses so I went and bought hoses and I don't know it connecting them by hand will suffice ior if I need a wrench. Also more importanly, what do I do about he drain hise I don't have one how do I hook that up once I get one. I am not adept in plumbing at all.

Most people can tighten washer hoses tight enough by hand. If not, a little tighter with a pair of pliers should do. Just make sure the hose ends have their rubber washers, often with little screens on the washer end. The drain hose usually is a part of the washer and just hooks over the stand pipe.
