How to install a new sewer vent through the roof
I would like to know how to install a new sewer vent through the roof. I think that my sewer vent is clogged
Leaves and other junk. Also ,just how far is the top of the vent that comes through the roof to the ceiling inside of the house, is their a certain distance allowed by a building code. Leroy

    Hi Leroy...

Hard to say here, but I would figure that you would be better off unclogging the existing vent then cutting into the vent/drain system and running an entirely new vent, right?

Let me know what state you are in so I can answer your code question and let me know if you need help trying to unclog he vent or if you still want to run a new vent. If you plan to run a new vent I need to know what material your pipes are made of and how you plan to cut into the drain system, OK?

    Back to you...
