    The Helpless toilet
    Duravit rear outlet toilet, offset
I have an apartment and I have just redone my bathroom. Our toilet has to be a rear outlet toilet which we just bought it's a Happy D. by Duravit. My problem is that the inside wall drain pipe is 3" off the ground and the toilet drain pipe is about 7" off the ground so its about 4" difference. i've been told that we need whats called an "offset" pc that needs to offset about 4". I am not a plumber so I'm not sure where or even if they make on "offset" at 4" would anyone no where I could find one or any suggestions on how else I might install this toilet. Also I can't move the inside drain pipe as that is not an option.

    Thanks

I don't know of such a offset piece and if there were it would push the toilet out from the wall. You are faced with two options here. Get a toilet that fits the inlet or go into the wall and lower the toilet drain pipe. My advice? Get a toilet that fits. Regards, Tom
