Stop father from seeing child in Massachusetts?
Father of baby wanted me to have abortion; I did not, now after 4 years he is forced to pay $80 a month. He has just called to say he wants visitation when the child does not even know he exist. He was in jail for a year for either drugs or gun issues. How can I stop this from happening?

Does he have Court-ordered visitation now?

If not you can tell him he can't see the child. He can then go to Court and ask for visitation. At that time you need to PROVE he's a danger to the child. You might be able to get supervised visitation ordered. I doubt you'll get a "no visitation" order.

Support and visitation are two different issues.

He has threatened me in the past and I have not heard from him in 3 years; I think because my child is on Mass Health the Child Support Division found him and he now has to pay $80 a month. He was in prison for a year for drugs and has threatened me that if I do not cooperate he knows people in my area that he will send to harm me. He also says hIonce he gets the child I may never see him again. He only started to harrass me again where they attached his pay.

So there's no Court Ordered visitation. And you are right - the "State" probably caught up with him.

If HE files for visitation, then take all of your proof/information to Court and prove that he's a danger to your child. (And it sounds like he is)

Remember to document everything, every telephone call, every threat.
