What does blocking on Facebook do to pictures?
I broke up with my ex about a month ago. I defriended her on Facebook so I wouldn't constantly be reminded of her and have to see pics of her and her new boyfriend. Recently I have been considering blocking her because sometimes I still see posts by her on mutual friends walls. We have about 70 mutual friends and some of them I am really close to so I think it would be kind of ridiculous to defriend them all.

I think blocking her would be best so I can move on but I am wondering what will happen to all the pictures of us together if I blocked her. Would I still be able to see pictures of her on Facebook but she wouldn't be tagged or would they be totally blocked?

There's lots of pics with me and her and other people so I wouldn't want to just have those be deleted. What happens to pictures of you and the person you block when you decided to block someone on Facebook?

    Thanks

If you block a person, for the most part it appears that they do not exist on Facebook. Except for photos. The only thing that happens to those is that she does not appear to be tagged in them. If the photos were uploaded on her profile, then I don't think you'll see the photos at all. However, if they are on a friend's profile or your own, she just won't appear to be tagged.

Feel free to ignore this, but I don't think you'll be doing much for yourself by blocking her. Unless you're tempted to still view her profile and talk to her and such, you'll still see these other photos and such. Or if she is messaging you or something.
