I just got an 8 weeks old kitten a week and a half ago, and I have been cleaning the litter box daily. Recently (yesterday) I found out I'm pregnant (4 weeks)... I have never had cats before, should I be worried I might have caught toxo?

Is your cat primarily an indoor or outdoor cat? Don't worry too much for now, just make sure you get your husband to clean the litter box from now on.

Hes only been indoor since we had him, and I'm assuming the kittens weren't let out prior (we got him at 8 weeks), though I'm sure mom was an outdoor/indoor cat (b/c she got prego)... and yes hubby does the scooping everyday and cleaning w/ bleach and detergent weekly since the day I found out I was expecting,

With only one cat, you should be OK. Especially if you were sure to thoroughly wash your hands after cleaning the litter box.

If you're worried about it, then just talk to your doctor. They can test you to see if there's any danger.
