A large 500kg magnet exerts a constant force of 3.00N on a 0.250kg bar magnet. What magnitude force does the bar magnet exert on the big magnet?

An 59kg woman stands in an elevator. What force does she exert on the floor of the elevator under the following conditions? a.)The elevator rises with a constant velocity of 2.0 m/s b.) The elevator accelerates upward at 1.8 m/s2 c.) The elevator goes down with a constant velocity of 4.0 m/s d) the elevator descends with a downward acceleration 2.8 m/s2 e.) While going down the elevator decelerates at 1.5 m/s2

An 75kg man stands in an elevator. What force does he exert on the floor of the elevator under the following conditions? A.) The elevator is stationary b.) The elevator accelerates upward at 2.0 m/s2 c.) The elevator rises with constant velocity of 4.0 m/s d.) While going up, the elevator accelerates down at 1.5 m/s2 e.) The elevator goes down with constant velocity of 7.0 m/s

A 0.0050kg bullet travelling with a speed of 200 m/s penetrates a large wooden fence post to a depth of 0.030m what was the average resisting force exerted on the bullet?

A 9.75kg lead brick rests on a level wooden table. If a force of 46.4N is required to slide the brick across the table at a constant speed, what is the coefficient of friction?

A horizontal force of 3.00 N is applied to a 1.00 kg radio, initially at rest on a table with a level surface a.) Will the radio move if the coefficient of friction is 0.45? B.)What is the coefficient of friction if it just begins to move? C.) What is its acceleration if the coefficient of friction is only 0.20?
A horizontal force pulls a 50.0kg bag of fertilizer across the floor. What is the minimun force required if the coefficient of friction is 0.37?

    1. Recall Newton's 3rd Law of motion.

    2. Recall Newton's 2nd Law of motion.
    a) What does constant velocity involve?
    b) Use F = ma
    c) Use again F = ma

    3. Same as 2.

    4. Find the deceleration and then use F = ma.

    5. Use

    6.
    a) Use to get the minimum force required to start the block and determine whether the force used is enough or not.
    b) Use your answer to a)
    c) Use then

    7. Use

I don't understand what you're talking about here... this is a trial for what question? :(

It will all depend on the pulley, but assuming a frictionless pulley, anything other than 0.19 kg will make it move.
