    Enzyme cleaners
We have bubbling water in our yard above the leach bed. The septic people want to put in a new leach bed for close to $20,000. I was reading about septic waste digesters (enzymes) that eat the sludge and supposedly clean the system AND the leachbed. Does anyone know if these things work? They are expensive, between about $600 and $1000. I don't want to throw money away that I might need for a new bed. Any suggestions?

First get 3 bids and see if the other guys think your field is shot. You are way far beyond anything that will eat bacteria, your field is soaked, water logged.
