    My dryer won't stay running!
I went to turn my dryer on by pushing the start button and as soon as I let go of it it turned right off. Also the dryer won't heat up at all.. I proped something up against the start button cause I thought it was maybe something wrong with the start button and after it was on for awhile I looked at the time on it and it hadn't moved off 80 so I opened the door and the clothes were still wet and there was absolutely no heat! Can not figure out the problem..!

Alicia you never stated type and model of dryer, but bad door switch will keep the dryer from starting. Check and repair door switch and see what happens. Good luck

Sounds like you have either a Whirlpool or a Kenmore made by Whirlpool (110 will be first 3 digits of the model number on the Kenmore) dryer. If that is the case your problem will be the electronic control which they call an "even heat control". It's located in the back splash of the dryer and is an easy change out. Probably around $100.

Dryer model 110.60172002 kenmore start button must be taped to stay on. Once you release start button unit stops

    And these: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Whirlpool%20Dryers.zip
