    Dent in copper pipe.
This is a dent in the copper pipe which feeds my sprinkler system. I just found it. It has either been there a while or the person framing my basement banged into it and caused it. It is about 1/4 to 1/2 the size of a chocolate chip. Just wondering if I need repair this or not.

Hi noderman. No need to worry here. The small dent shouldn't affect the line aggresively, just something to keep an eye on over time okay. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Ive seen much larger dents or kinks in copper water lines that have been that way for years and years with no problems.

I agree, no issue to worry about.
