I am 25 weeks pregnant and started bleeding like a period two days ago. I had some cramping and was contracting a little. I went to the emergency room and they monitored me and the baby. Everything seemed fine exact I am still spotting. This is the third episode of be bleeding. The first time was at 12 weeks and than at 16 weeks, both times I was hemmoraging. This time the bleeding isn't that bad. I am just concerned because my doctors can not seem to find a reason. They say my placenta is normal and not low. Can someone tell me what's going on?

Have they done a transvaginal ultrasound? A possible reason for the bleeding may be a cevical polyp(s). Irritation to the cervix can also cause some spotting or bleeding. On occasion, someone might have had a slight placenta abruption that goes undetected until it is noticed when the placenta is delivered after birth.
