Am I having a miscarriage or not?
I went in to the er on Monday night because I had some bleeding. That only lasted about a min or two. And they ran blood tests and did some ultrasounds. They told me that my levels went down to 5100 from Friday when they were at 5894. And they also said that they didn't find anything in the ultrasound, but I would have only been about 5 maybe 6 weeks along. Is that to early to even have an ultrasound done. And I haven't had any bleeding since that one moment on Monday night. Just a little bit of a brown watery like discharge. So I was just wondering if its to early to have an ultrasound done, or since I'm not bleeding if its not a miscarriage.

I can't tell you about the miscarriage part but I will just give you my own personal experience with the ultrasound part, when I was 7 weeks pregnant they tried giving me an ultrasound and you would have needed a magnifying glass to see this little "dot", I was then sent for an internal scan and I could just about make out a baby in there. I'm no expert on this type of issue but I do know they couldn't see much with an external ultrasound at 7 weeks.

If they didn't find anything during the internal ultrasound I'm afraid its not looking good my friend. You can always get a second opinion though!

I'm just really confused because I've had one miscarriage before this one and it was in feb. and with that my numbers never got any higher then 105 and I had cramps and I bleed for about 5 days. But with this one no blood but that little tiny bit and no cramping what so ever. I only have a little brown discharge everyonce in a while when I go to the bathroom. I just wish I knew what was going on.

Then by all means get a second opinion, it will shed light on your situation

Well went in to the er last night with severe pain. And it turns out that I was still pregnant seen the sac and heard the heartbeat, but unfortunally it was an ectopic pregnancy so they sent me in to emergency surgery. While in surgery he tried to cauderize the folepin tube but it wasn't working so he had to remove the whole tube on the right side of my body.

    I'm so sorry.

On the bright side, I had a friend with only one tube, PCOD, on the pill, and was told she'd never have children. She has three.

Don't give up. It's very possible to conceive with only one tube, even after an ectopic pregnancy.
