It's a stick and it drove before I got the throw out bearing from auto zone that was different looking but seemed fuctional when I put it on and get everything done and now it won't go in to gear when the car is on ?

I think you know it's the wrong throw out bearing--that's a shame. The proof is in the shifting. I've been replacing a lot of bearings lately--you need to be very careful. There is a lot of junk out there these days.

I always try to keep the original assembly and just replace the bearing. Assess the original release bearing assembly and see if that's possible.
