I was working at a gmy I calgary for about 2 years I got fired & months later the police called me in for questioning I didn't give a statement ysterday they called me to go in and they were going to charge me for fro fraud over 5000 , when I talked to the officer he said that all they have is statements from individuals saying I took cash from them for memberships and I pocket the cash . Do they have anything solid or is it ones word against another ? What is the sentence for this crime and what can I do . I'm confused because I didn't take the money and I do not want to be wrongfully accused of this.

I would seriously entertain the thought of hiring a lawyer... now.
